3. Trap Manager

A trap manager is a management station that receives traps, the system alerts generated by the NVF-800S. If no trap

manager is defined, no traps are issued. Create a trap manager by entering the IP address of the station and a community

string.

Enterprise MIB contains two traps:

a. When IP DSLAM internal temperature is greater than 70℃, system will send a “Temperature alarm “ trap.

b. When the IP DSLAM’s internal cooling FAN doesn’t run, the system will send a “FAN speed alarm” trap.
